For fifteen years Lance Frank was employed by Radio Shack, a Fortune 500 company, working first as a salesperson and computer specialist in Hemet, then as manager of the Palm Springs and Palm Desert stores. He has been trained in the sales, customer service, business and human resource management techniques which once made U.S. corporations the most productive and profitable in the world. His stores were consistently ranked among the top performers in his district and region.
Lance worked for "The Shack" during a time when wearing a coat and tie were mandatory, even in the desert, and an outward sign of a professional corps of Managers directly responsible for inventory management and expense control. He was also responsible for screening and HR processing of employees for the entire Palm Springs area.
His driving work ethnic, commitment to excellence, and dedication to his customers earned him awards too numerous to mention. His secret: looking beyond the sale to gain a customer for life by delivering outstanding customer service AFTER the sale and, while other managers surrendered to macro economic trends, refusing to accept defeat until every effort had been made to bring in new business.
Lance's success at Radio Shack enabled him to purchase his first home in 1997, a bank owned property in Bermuda Dunes Country Club. With no one to guide him, he found the experience quite intimidating and even tried unsuccessfully to cancel the transaction. It worked out for the best when he sold the property at the top of the market eight years later. The experience would serve him well when he later became a Realtor. Lance knows first hand the anxiety and confusion first time home buyers experience and uses his experience to help guide them through the process.
