Palm Canyon Advertising was founded by Lance Frank in 1997 to sell advertising on
HWY111.COM and PalmCanyon.com which serve the Palm Springs, California area.
Two national travel related sites  HotelPros.com and ConciergeDesk.com were also
created at this time to promote the cause of outstanding customer service in the hospitality
industry and the businesses that service them.  In early 2004, these owned and operated
web sites along with their various initiatives were reorganized as shown below. In 2006,
Palm Canyon Advertising published the First Annual Palm Springs Walk of
Stars Official Map.

HWY111.COM COMMUNITY
An on line publication featuring editorials, commentary, discussion boards, events
calendars and features related to the Coachella Valley.

Over the years, various spin offs of the Hwy 111 brand have included:

• HWY111.INFO (aka Search Palm Springs Valley)
  A local area search engine which is integrated into HWY111.COM and other sites.
  
• Hwy 111, Palm Springs is Just The Beginning!
  The Internet component of a proposed multi media marketing campaign to give East
  valley cities more branding equity than they currently get from Palm Springs “trickle
  down.” The campaign is known as “The Hwy 111 Marketing Alliance.”
  
• HWY111.BIZ, Official Souvenir Shop of The Hwy 111 Crowd
  An e commerce site which provided sales, order processing and fulfillment services to
  businesses wishing to sell promotional or other products to raise money for local
  charities.
  
• Country Clubs of The Palm Springs Valley (Hwy111.cc)
  A directory of local country clubs with links to most of their web sites.
  
• HWY111.TV / PalmCanyon.TV
  The broadband components of HWY111.COM which rely on heavier use of pictures and
  sounds.

An on line game in which users search for promotional gifts of sponsors.

Sci Fi Shop
Previously and e commerce web site for sci fi and fantasy memorabilia, the site is now an
on line sci fi game.
